Delta Air Lines - Named Best Long-Haul Airline

Delta Air Lines is delighted to have been named ‘Best Long-Haul Airline’ at the Business Travel Awards 2019, held in London last week.

The judging panel of industry experts credited Delta for its innovation in biometric and facial recognition technology, on-time performance and strong global outlook.

Delta advised "It’s a strong start to the year, but you can be sure there’s more to come from our airline".

* Delta marked five successful years of our joint venture with Virgin Atlantic

* Delta will be rolling out biometric technology at our Detroit hub during 2019, to offer the same seamless airport experience already enjoyed by international passengers at our Atlanta home

* Delta plan to boost their U.K. network, with more services to Boston – including Delta’s new flight from Edinburgh - and extra flights to Detroit this summer
