Royal Brunei Airlines has announced it will launch non-stop flights between Brunei and Brisbane

Royal Brunei Airlines has announced it will launch non-stop flights between Brunei and Brisbane from 11 June 2019, offering a new route for passengers flying to Australia from London.

The new route comes after the launch of Royal Brunei Airlines’ daily flights between Heathrow and Brunei in October 2018, as well as a non-stop service to Melbourne.

The new flight will be operated by Royal Brunei Airlines’ A320neo fleet. It will depart Brunei at 1950 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, landing at 0445 local time the following day. Return flights leave Brisbane at 1730 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, arriving at 2250 local time.

Karam Chand, CEO of Royal Brunei Airlines, said: “The reconnection of Brunei and Brisbane is a significant milestone that we are incredibly proud to announce. Our one-stop route from London to Melbourne has already proved very popular and we are delighted to be able to offer UK travellers an additional Australian travel destination.
