TAP Air Portugal Flies to Punta Cana

TAP has inaugurated its new route connecting London & Manchester to Punta Cana via Lisbon three times a week

TAP will fly between London/Manchester and Punta Cana on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, departing Lisbon at 5pm and arriving in the Dominican Republic airport at 9.20pm. On the return leg, TAP flights leave Punta Cana at 11.05pm and arrives at 10.35am the next day (local time).

The route will be operated with TAP’s Airbus A330-900neo aircraft, featuring the new Airspace by Airbus cabin.  The cabin’s configuration, with wifi aboard, and its design create an updated, modern mood, with seats with deeper recline in Economy, in seat cover shades of green and grey, and with more legroom in EconomyXtra, in shades of green and red.  The seat pitch in regular economy is 31 inches, while EconomyXtra offers an additional three inches of legroom, for a pitch of 34 inches.  The A330-900neo features 168 seats in Economy and 96 seats in EconomyXtra.

In TAP’s Executive business class, TAP offers 34 new fully-flat reclining chairs that are more than six feet long when fully reclined. TAP’s business class seats include outlets for both USBs and individual electrical plugs, connections for headphones, individual reading lights, and more space - including more storage room.

Mandatory digital or printed proof

Please be advised that from 16Dec 2021, it is mandatory for all passengers travelling to mainland Portugal to complete the online Passenger Locator Form, whether as a final destination or in transit. Paper forms will no longer be available on board.

This online form must be completed after check-in, in order to include the passenger seat number.

Passengers must provide digital proof (on their mobile device) or printed confirmation that the form has been successfully completed and submitted. Please be also aware that in the event of internet connection problems on passengers' mobile devices or wi-fi at the airports, a printed proof of PLF form submission is required.

Failure to comply with this requirement will result in denied boarding and constitutes an offence, which may be punished by a fine of €300 to €800.
