United. Brand. New

United. Brand. New

The last few years have been a time of transformation for United.
From the inside out, they have been making
changes that draw from their strong heritage.
They are excited to show you how far they have come with their brand evolution and bring you along on the journey.

HOW THEY LANDED HERE...

They couldn’t have shaped their evolution without input from their travelers and employees.
Through research and feedback sessions, they learned some key themes that helped them get where we are today.

SO... WHAT'S CHANGING?
Colours, Tone of voice, Design system and Livery

Blue is still their primary colour
Their proud of their legacy, and have learned that other people are too.
With color, that means continuing to anchor themselves by their United blue and navy while also leaning into additional
blue hues — all inspired by the
different shades of the colorful sky people see from their planes every day.

New colours add cohesion and interest
Their adding new hues, like purples, that pair well with blues and help create a renewed look
and a more timeless brand identity ― the pairing of the two “cool” colors also creates more soothing
environments that make the travel experience less stressful...
