Emirates retrofitted Boeing 777s set to take off to 8 more cities

Emirates are enhancing their customers’ travel experience with their upgraded Boeing 777s now set to serve 8 more destinations! The retrofit programme - which includes their signature Premium Economy cabin on every aircraft - continues to progress at an impressive pace, with a newly refurbished plane rolling out into service every three weeks. By September 2025, they aim to serve 44 cities with their fleet of fully refurbished Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 aircraft.
Additionally, London Stansted will receive its second daily service with refreshed Boeing 777 interiors on EK067/EK068 from 1 June.
The enhanced Boeing 777 services will be available on the following 8 destinations:
Lisbon 1 June – EK191/EK192 and EK193/EK194
Dublin 25 June – EK161/EK162
Hong Kong 15 July - EK382/EK383
Maldives 1 June - EK658/EK659 and 15 July - EK656/EK657 & EK660/EK661
Kolkata 10 August – EK572/EK573
Colombo 10 August - EK650/EK651
Johannesburg 1 September - EK765/EK766 and 25 September - EK761/EK762
Cape Town 20 September - EK770/EK771
Enhanced onboard experience
The retrofitted Boeing 777 aircraft features a four-class configuration, including Emirates renowned Premium Economy cabin, which combine accessible luxury with comfort.
It also boasts the new Boeing 777 Business Class, with seats arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration for maximum privacy ensuring aisle access for every passenger, fully flat beds and personal mini-bars. On some aircraft, First Class passengers can experience the exclusive Gamechanger suites, offering unparalleled luxury, opulent comfort and signature design touches.
Customers across all cabins will enjoy upgraded interiors with new design elements, including modern colour palettes, specially designed Ghaf Tree motifs and wood finishes throughout.
