On the return, flights leave from Melbourne in the afternoon, with a stop in Bangkok in the evening, and land in Helsinki early the next day. The evening flight from London Heathrow, Manchester and Dublin as well as the morning flight from Helsinki back to London Heathrow, Manchester and Dublin all connect to the new Melbourne service. In the UK, Finnair also flies from Edinburgh to Helsinki.
