Malaysia Airlines are pleased to announce the launch of four exciting new routes to enhance their network and provide greater connectivity across the region. These new routes operating by Malaysia Airlines & Firefly (Subsidiary of Malaysia Aviation Group) are now open for sale starting 5 September 2025.

 

New route : Kuala Lumpur (KUL) to Krabi (KBV)

Commencement date : 17 November 2025

Operating carrier : Firefly (FY 3610 & FY 3611)

Code share carrier : Malaysia Airlines (MH 4692 & MH 4693)

 

New route : Kuala Lumpur (KUL) to Siem Reap (SAI)

Commencement date : 27 November 2025

Operating carrier : Firefly (FY 3520 & FY 3521)

Code share carrier : Malaysia Airlines (MH 4682 & MH 4683)

 

New route : Kuala Lumpur (KUL) to Cebu (CEB)

Commencement date : 02 December 2025

Operating carrier : Firefly (FY 3692 & FY 3692)

Code share carrier : Malaysia Airlines (MH 4695 & MH 4696)

 

New route : Kuala Lumpur (KUL) to Chengdu Tianfu (TFU)

Commencement date : 09 January 2025

Please be informed of the following key points regarding the code-share operations between Malaysia Airlines (MH) and Firefly (FY):

 1.Seamless Connectivity & Baggage Check Thru at KLIA Terminal 1

Passengers traveling on either MH or FY flights will benefit from smooth and convenient connectivity, along with seamless baggage check-thru as both carriers operate from KLIA Terminal 1.

2. Passenger Entitlements on Connecting Flights

Passengers holding MH tickets that include FY-operated connecting flights under the MH codeshare will continue to enjoy complimentary onboard meals and checked baggage allowance, consistent with MH’s service standards.
