Air France-KLM committed to minimizing footprint
The Air France-KLM Group continues to achieve its ambitious objectives to reduce its environmental footprint, despite the economic difficulties. The health crisis, which affected the performance and results throughout 2020, has actually reinforced the Group’s commitments. The 2020 launch of the world’s first Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) program for corporations is just one example. By 2030, the Group will have halved its CO2 emissions per passenger/km compared to 2005 and will have achieved carbon neutrality for its ground operations.
The ambition of the Air France-KLM Group is clear: to be a European leader in terms of more sustainable air travel, connecting people and cultures for the world of tomorrow.
