Cathay Pacific’s London Heathrow flights to Hong Kong resume

We are constantly monitoring and adapting to the latest travel information and restrictions. We remain dedicated to flying your travellers where they need to be.
As such, we are very happy to announce that we will be resuming regular flights from London Heathrow to Hong Kong from Saturday 8 May 2021; reconnecting your travellers to the people and places they love in Asia-Pacific.
We know that it may have been a long time since your customers have been able to return home, and they are keen to be reunited with their family and loved ones. To help them get back as soon as possible, we will be operating an increased schedule until 31 May 2021, which you can view in the table here below.

Travel Requirements for entering Hong Kong
Please note that until further notice, only residents of Hong Kong will be granted entry. Passengers flying from, or transiting through the UK and ending their journey in Hong Kong, must present a negative COVID-19 nucleic acid (RT-PCR) test and additional documentation before they fly:
- Effective 8 Mar 2021, passengers must complete a declaration form for international travel to declare the reason that they need to travel abroad. Please refer to the UK government guidancefor more details.
- If travelling from the UK to Hong Kong, passengers must have a negative COVID-19 nucleic acid test report within 72 hours of the flight and receive a negative result prior to departure. Passengers without the correct test will not be permitted to travel.
- Passengers will also need to provide accreditation documents to the border authorities, including Certification of Accreditation or Certificate of Compliance that the laboratory is approved in the UK.
- A confirmation of a hotel room reservation in Hong Kong for no less than 21 nights starting on the day of arrival in Hong Kong.

Your customers’ guide to quarantine
Travellers entering Hong Kong are required to quarantine in one of the designated hotels thoughout the city. We have prepared a quarantine guide which is designed to help them prepare for quarantine and get the most out of their stay.
Enjoy more flexibility when flying with us
Altering plans for your travellers is easy. We are offering unlimited changes up to
31 December 2021 for all new tickets issued between 9 March 2020 and
30 June 2021.
Your travellers also have the option to exchange tickets for Cathay Credits and cancel bookings with a full refund for tickets issued on or before 23 March 2020 (original travel period is between 1 June 2020 and 31 March 2021). Once they have changed their ticket to Cathay Credits, they will have until 30 September 2021 to redeem on a new booking. Travel must be completed before 31 March 2022.
