Important Transit Conditions Update from Singapore Airlines
We have recently come across several bookings where tickets have been issued as LON-SIN on Singapore Airlines (SQ) with onward journeys on another carrier.
Please note that such transit/transfers through Singapore are not permitted by the Singapore Government and will unfortunately lead to passengers being denied boarding.
Passengers travelling on Singapore Airlines from the United Kingdom can only transfer in Singapore between airlines that are within the SIA Group (Singapore Airlines SQ and Scoot - TR). This means that travel between London and Manila via Singapore - where the London to Singapore flight is operated by Singapore Airlines and the Singapore to Manila flight is operated by a carrier outside the SQ group - is not allowed. London-Singapore-Manila all operated by Singapore Airlines/Scoot, however, is permitted.
We ask that you please check on country restrictions and transit eligibility prior to booking passengers and to please follow the below link, which is regularly updated, for reference.
