Taiwan Travel Requirements
NHS tests are not recognized as an acceptable proof of COVID status. Only lab certificates that include the following elements are accepted:
1/ It must state on the certificate that the test is a nucleic acid test
2/ It must indicate following:
i/ the name,
ii/ date of birth or passport number of the traveler,
iii/ the virus name (COVID-19 or SARS-CoV-2),
iv/ testing method (PCR, Real-Time PCR, RT-PCR, NAA, NAT or Molecular Diagnostics), and
v/ the result (negative or undetectable).
It is important to note that for the Taiwanese, an antibody serology test (IgG or IgM) is not a molecular biology nucleic acid test and thus, does not meet the requirements for a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result.
